Data Erasure Certificate
The products are de-identified, and all information on hard drives is erased using certified software or destroyed in accordance with GDPR. We send data erasure certificates or destruction certificates for all information-bearing IT products at the serial number level, ensuring full traceability and proof that all information has been permanently deleted.
Compensation +
Financial Report
You can receive an estimated preliminary value for the products, and we pay the current market price for items that can be reused (often before they are resold, unlike auctions where the final price is uncertain and the products may not even be sold). A financial report including the value of each product and test results is provided for full transparency. If you wish to donate the surplus to a non-profit organization, just let us know and we’ll take care of it.

How are the hard drives handled?
Remade Secure System is our secure processing method that complies with the GDPR data protection regulation. All data on hard drives and storage media is permanently erased using Blancco, a certified software solution. You receive a data erasure certificate that verifies the process was completed, including the exact time and the serial number of each device or hard drive. Storage media that cannot be securely wiped is destroyed instead.
How is the equipment transported?
We collect the equipment in lockable security containers, which remain sealed until they arrive at our facility. There, security-cleared staff log, anonymize, and securely erase the data from the devices.
What do you do with the products?
Once the hard drives are wiped, we begin the extensive process of testing, inspecting, repairing, and upgrading the devices — all to give them a second life. Most of the time, we’re successful. If the equipment is too old or beyond repair, it’s sent for recycling. Products that are still useful are resold on the second-hand market and end up with companies, schools, and private individuals.
